It’s October 18th, 1998. Johnny is 14 years old, has a lot of pimples, and not that many friends. He lives in a small town with parents who truly believe, that he is special. They even took out a loan so that he could be the first person in school, maybe even in the town, to have a computer. Initially, the equipment piqued the interest of his classmates. Computer games were completely different from those on the Nintendo, and it was a whole new experience to play them. However, without internet access and with only one game from PC Gamer, the excitement quickly wore off.
But October 18th was a special day in Johnny’s life.
