I don’t agree that man and women can’t be friends. At all.

I have been there. „Friends”, but with one side hoping for more, so I know it happens, but I also have a pleasure to experience male-female friendships that don’t have that element.

Are they rare? Yes.

Because two people need to understand themselves, their needs and wants before getting to know each other, so it’s always honest and with no subtext.

Also, because to do that, you must be willing to meet a lot of people when you’re emotionally mature, and mostly people stop being open to genuinely meeting others when they’re older.

So, yeah, it’s not obvious, it doesn’t happen often, but fortunately it is possible.
