Honestly, it’s hard for me to wrap my head around this. I’ve been writing for a while, but mostly for myself and only recently I looked into sharing my content more broadly and getting more people to read it and that’s how I stumbled upon FB groups where read for read is a thing.

I don’t think it works well, most of the engagements I got from there aren’t meaningful, but it does feel nice to see anyone engaging with the content I wrote and I haven’t been able to find a better strategy to get my articles out there tbh.

For me it’s not about the money, I’m earning peanuts, but for my pieces to be read by someone.
